The design studio NEWD was founded in 2012 by Kristoffer Olsson and Linus Sundblad. The studio hasn’t been active since 2016, due to full time consulting.

Design is probably one of today’s most frequently used words, a word with many different meanings. We deal with a few of them. Many are those who talk about strategic design and branding. We are dedicated to the aesthetic aspects of design. We are convinced that strong form builds strong brands. We are interested in functional everyday objects, we want to give them a greater aesthetic value since you must live with them every day. We have a vision to change things, both in thought and execution. Bored by the norm, we strive towards aesthetic diversity. We are looking for like-minded people. Our collaborations will hopefully result in sustainable and functional products that convey a strong aesthetic experience.
